Three rulers per element

In Dorothean Hellenistic astrology, each element shares 3 «triplicity rulers» — a day lord (when the chart is diurnal), a night lord (nocturnal), and a participating lord. Triplicity is one of the 5 essential dignities. Sect (day vs night birth) determines which lord prevails.
