Numerology derives a 'numerical profile' from your name and birth date. Its roots go back to Pythagoras (6th c. BCE) and the Jewish gematria tradition; it reads the 'hidden structure' of a word through letter-number correspondence. Four core numbers are calculated: life path (the main theme from your birth date), expression/destiny (what you're here for, from the full name), soul urge (inner motivation, from the vowels), personality (the projected self, from the consonants). Master numbers 11, 22, 33 are a category of their own — high frequency, high responsibility. Numerology doesn't 'set destiny'; it maps tendencies.
