About this tool

Asteroids are the "sub-layer" symbols added to astrology after the classical 10 planets. Thousands of small bodies orbit in the Mars-Jupiter belt, but the four most used in astrology are the first four discovered (1801-1807): Ceres (mothering/nourishment), Pallas (strategy/intelligence), Juno (partnership), Vesta (devotion). These four fill the feminine-archetype layer that's thin in classical charts. Main planets give the big themes; asteroids give precise context — Ceres in your chart shows "how you nourish and are nourished," Pallas "how you strategize and perceive," Juno "what you seek in long-term partnership," Vesta "what you devote yourself to as sacred." This page shows each asteroid's basic expression by your sign; for exact positions, see your natal chart.
