TAROT COURT CARD · fire

Knight of Wands

Upright meaning

The Knight of Wands is fire's active middle state — bold, fast-moving, taking risk. On the field, getting things done, pushing limits. Not the Page's pure dream nor the King's mature command; in between, in the heart of motion. When this card arrives: a decision has been made and action launched; no turning back. The energy of an athlete, activist, military leader, founder-CEO. Fast but sometimes without thinking; either burns or gets burned. Can be destructive but in this moment that courage is needed; softness comes later.

Reversed meaning

Reversed: uncontrolled speed, aggressive conflict, burning without cause. Or the opposite — a frozen Knight unable to move. The direction of action is lost.
