TAROT COURT CARD · air

Knight of Swords

Upright meaning

The Knight of Swords is air's active middle state — fighting with mind, thinking fast, going direct. Classical image: horse charging forward, sword in air — not stopping, calculating yet not when stopping. When this card arrives: a decision is made, action started; talking is done, motion began. The energy of a lawyer, debater, warrior, activist, "thought leader." His enemy is ambiguity and slowness; he's the one who cuts these fastest. Risk: rushed decision; not every verbal duel produces victory; sometimes destroys.

Reversed meaning

Reversed: aggressive debate, refusal to listen, verbally tearing down others. Or frozen — sword unraised, battle unstarted.
