Layout structure
A single card is drawn, but interpretation differs. Classic categorization: Major Arcana, Wands, Cups = leaning yes; Swords, Pentacles = "depends on situation"; reversed card = no. In some traditions, only upright is "yes," reversed is "no." For a single decision's "will it happen or not" question.
When to use it
When a flat decision is needed, ideal for single-question situations like "Should I apply to this job?", "Should I message that person?", "Should I propose this marriage?" Takes 1 minute. Insufficient for complex situations — tarot generally doesn't say a clean "yes/no."

Question: "Should I propose to my partner this weekend?" Drawn card: The Lovers (Major Arcana, upright). Answer: Yes, stay true to your shared principle.
