Progressed Synastry

Progrese Sinastri · PSyn

What it is

Progressed Synastry is the technique of reading the aspects between two people's secondary-progression charts. Regular synastry: "natal ↔ natal"; progressed synastry: "this year's progressed chart ↔ partner's progressed chart." What matters: both people's progressed lives evolve simultaneously; the relationship's "current dynamic" shifts. Example: Mars-Venus aren't conjunct in the natal charts, but at age 30 they approach in progression — romantic intensity increases at those ages. Modern psychological astrology's long-term relationship-tracking technique. Less-used but deep; especially valuable in 10+ year relationships — answers "why does the relationship's natural flow feel different now?"

How to read it

Cast your own progressed chart for this year and the partner's progressed chart for the same period. Look at the aspects between them. A new conjunction or new tension — that's what the relationship is "newly learning right now." A different channel from natal synastry.
