Bileşik Harita · Midpoint Composite

What it is

A composite chart is "the relationship's own chart" — a third chart formed from the midpoints of two natal charts' planets. Method: A's Sun at 10° Leo, B's Sun at 20° Cancer → composite Sun at 0° Leo (the midpoint). The same operation for every planet and major point. Result: an answer to "what themes does the relationship carry, what energy unites it?" Synastry shows "what dances between two people"; composite asks "as a dancing entity, who is the relationship?" Robert Hand systematized it in the 1970s; standard in modern psychological astrology. Doesn't exist in classical tradition; entirely modern. Risk: the midpoint is symbolic, not actual sky — handle with care.

How to read it

Read a composite chart as a single chart — as if it were the relationship's natal. What sign is the composite Sun in? The relationship finds its theme there. What fills the composite 7th house? The partnership dynamic shapes there.
