Theme

The 8 North series brings returns — someone you left, an old city, an old job opens again. Per Brady, the theme is "looking around and returning to your life." The June 21, 2020 annular eclipse fell in the pandemic's first wave: returns to the old happened during lockdown, reconnection with old friends, return to old hobbies. The energy of this series is not nostalgic but cyclic: "it returned because it was incomplete."
