Theme

The 1 South series tests the qualities of relationship. Its eclipses either bond couples or separate them — opens a new depth. Per Brady, the theme is "great power and feeling" — the individual's resolve is tested. The August 21, 2017 Great American Eclipse is its best-known member; it coincided with the start of the Trump era. Eclipses in this series mark setting boundaries, seeking answer to "who am I, how much of me is in this relationship?"
