Mythology
Ashlesha means "the embracer" — the serpent's soft and constricting coil. Nagas in Hindu myth are semi-divine serpents; they carry wisdom and hidden power, but can also be merciless. The serpent's venom both kills and heals — one root of Ayurveda is Ashlesha. Ruled by Mercury — speech, mind, agile communication.
Astrological reading
Moon in Ashlesha carries a hypnotic presence — verbally or bodily. High capacity for manipulation; well-channeled it heals, ill-channeled it poisons. Psychologist, hypnotherapist, fraudster, salesperson type. Risk: a coiling pattern that can't state needs directly.
