Outside, Mars's fire; inside, the Moon's water. This person rushes forward, initiates, fights — but coming home becomes someone else entirely: sensitive, protective, deeply bonded to family. First impression "aggressive, direct"; getting to know them, "actually very emotional." Leadership energy from Aries; but the purpose is always protecting someone (Cancer). Soldier, police officer, nurse, mother, parent raising children in a protective role type. Risk: uncontrolled rage outside, unmanageable feeling inside. They hide their softening; the sharpness masks the softness. Children see a paradox in this person — strong enough to carry hardness, capable enough to meet sensitivity.
The paradox
Outer war and inner tenderness in the same person. Quick to enter conflict but also quick to deepen when emotionally pulled in; lives both poles intensely.
Integration
Ask Mars "what am I protecting?" If the answer also satisfies Cancer, the fight is meaningful. Use inner emotion to govern reflexive anger.
