4 planets — Grand Trine + 1 opposition = kite shape

Dynamics

A Kite forms when an opposition is added to one planet of a Grand Trine. Visually a kite: triangle + tail. The opposition's tension converts the Grand Trine's passive flow into "active direction." Pure Grand Trine is talent but can drift to laziness; the Kite channels it. The fourth planet in opposition is the "friction point" — the native keeps getting irritated in that planet's house/sign, and the irritation forces them to use the Grand Trine's gift. As a classical pattern, "the structure that forces talent into action."

How to read it in a chart

Focus on the opposing planet — that constant-irritation theme is the trigger for the Grand Trine's talent. Facing it both breaks the ease that talent rides on and makes the gift usable.
